Se van a retransmitir en directo las sesiones de apertura (9:00) y de cierre del congreso (17:45). En la sesión de apertura, contaremos con la presencia del rector de la UNED, de la Secretaria del Estado español para migraciones y del decano de la facultad de filología que encabeza también el comité organizador del congreso. pre-conference video
Though this is an online conference, we want to innovate so as to somehow connect participants with each other. This is why we would like each participant to record a short video (no longer than 2 minutes) in order to tell us a little bit about their life, career path and research interests. The video should be sent as an mp4 file to [email protected].
networking sessions
Since we are faced with the impossibility of meeting face-to-face, we will have online networking sessions where participants will be given the opportunity to have informal talks with each other and receive peer feedback on their work. In addition, we will play some videos about Madrid, its history, people and cuisine so as to enable everybody to learn a little more about the city from the comfort of their homes.
We therefore encourage all participants to get ready to actively partake in all those sessions. The aim here is get to know one another and learn from each other's experiences.

PROVISIONAL PROGRAMME
Though we feel privileged to have received proposals from all over world, coming up with a programme that would likely suit everybody was quite a difficult task, as we had to deal with different time zones. Therefore, please reach out to us only if it is really impossible for you to give your presentation in the time slot allocated to you.
publication
All speakers will be invited to send us papers by late February/early March, 2021 and depending on the number and quality of papers we receive, we shall publish them in a special issue of Spanish journal ELIA or as an edited volume.
